Falcarindiol
Falcarindiol is an orally bioavailable polyacetylene that suppresses inflammation and cell proliferation. It inhibits LPS-induced NO production in macrophages by targeting the JAK/STAT pathway, reducing JAK1/JAK2 phosphorylation and STAT1 nuclear translocation to downregulate iNOS expression. This mechanism supports its research in inflammatory and cancer studies using both in vitro and in vivo models.
