Z-Gly-Pro-AMC
Z-Gly-Pro-AMC is a fluorogenic substrate for prolyl endopeptidase (PREP) . Its hydrolysis releases fluorescent 7-amido-4-methylcoumarin (λ ex 380 nm, λ em 465 nm), enabling the enzyme's activity to be monitored in vitro. This assay is widely used in neuroscience and biochemistry research to study PREP's role in processes like memory and neuropeptide degradation.
