Cloxacillin
Cloxacillin is a β-lactamase-resistant penicillin with potent antibacterial activity (IC50 = 0.04 μM) . It is used in research to study its mechanisms against bacterial infections and its anti-inflammatory effects, which involve the suppression of MAPK, NF-κB, and NLRP3 inflammasome pathways in both cellular and animal models of S. aureus inflammation.
