Specificity

This antibody recognizes the gene product hk4 of human KLK4 (also known as KLK-L1), one of the many kallikrein serine proteases associated with carcinogenesis. KLK4 is up- regulated by androgens and progestins and has been associated with prostate and breast cancers and possibly with other cancers.
