FUS (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
Rabbit polyclonal to FUS.Oncogene Fused in sarcoma (FUS) is also known as Translocated in liposarcoma protein (TLS), which encodes a multifunctional protein component of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) complex. The hnRNP complex is involved in pre-mRNA splicing and the export of fullyprocessed mRNA to the cytoplasm. FUS belongs to the FET family of RNA-binding proteins whichhave been implicated in cellular processes including regulation of gene expression, maintenance ofgenomic integrity and mRNA/microRNA processing. Defects in this gene result in amyotrophic lateralsclerosis type 6.
