96-well Yeast Plasmid Kit

The 96-well Yeast Plasmid Kit is engineered for high-throughput isolation of plasmid DNA from yeast cultures in a 96-well plate workflow. Designed to handle ~1-5 mL culture per well, the kit uses lyticase and glass‐beads combined with alkaline-SDS lysis and a reversible nucleic acid-binding matrix to deliver high-quality DNA in under 1 hour. Typical yield from a 5 mL high-copy yeast culture is around ~1 μg (depending on strain and copy number) and genomic DNA is minimized. Key features include compatibility with centrifugation or vacuum manifolds; all reagents are supplied including 96-well Lysate Clearance Plate, DNA Binding Plate, Collection Plate, Buffer YPI/II/III, SE, RNase A, glass beads, DNA Wash Buffer and Elution Buffer. No guanidine salts or ion-exchange resin residues are used, resulting in clean DNA suitable for PCR, restriction digestion, Southern blot or downstream cloning. Ideal for labs screening multiple yeast transformants in parallel.
