Each monomer will bind one holo-transferrin molecule producing an iron-Tf-TfR complex which enters the cell by endocytosis.TFRC Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 696 amino acids (89-760 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 77.7 kDa.TFRC is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
