Bil Coil

A metallic rod fitted with rectangular printed circuit board coil of 5 or 10 turns to hang it in between the poles of permanent magnets placed on the top pan of a digital balance. When the current is passed through the coil via. 4mm sockets a force is exerted on the magnet due to the magnetic effect of the current. Quantitative measurement can be taken to investigate the formula F=BIL. Maximum current rating for the coil is 3A DC.
