1.Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.06-0.3 ng/mL. 2.Western blot analysis of extracts from serum-starved TF-1, untreated (-) or treated with GM-CSF (Cat: 10015-HNAH) (100 ng/mL, 5 min; +), using Phospho-Stat5 (Tyr694) Antibody, Rabbit MAb (Cat: 111160-R0023) at 1:1000 dilution (upper) or Anti-STAT5a Antibody, Rabbit PAb, Antigen Affinity Purified (Cat: 107353-T32) at 1:500 dilution (lower) (Routinely tested) .

The recombinant human GMCSF consists of 127 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 14.5 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 19-29 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
