Rishitinol is a sesquiterpene alcohol phytoalexin with antifungal activities found in potato tubers infected by Phytophthora infestans. Rishitinol inhibits mycelial growth and spore germination of fungi. Rishitinol is promising for research of plant fungal diseases (such as late blight) [1].
