PX5–9

PX5-9 is an orally active prodrug that can upregulate brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) . PX5–9 exerts neuroprotective effects by elevating intracellular BDNF levels. PX5-9 can be used for the research of neurodegenerative diseases (such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease) and depression, which are associated with reduced BDNF levels[1].
