RI-OR2 is a retro-inverso peptide that acts as an amyloid-? (A?) oligomerization inhibitor. It binds to fixed ?-Amyloid (1-42) monomers and fibrils, with an apparent Kd of 9-12 ?M, and also serves as an inhibitor of A? (1-42) fibril extension.
