Bioactivity
Ardeemin ((-) -Ardeemin) binds to P-glycoprotein, inhibiting the efflux of anticancer drugs from cells. In breast cancer xenograft models, Ardeemin can reverse the multidrug resistance phenotype of tumor cells and enhance their sensitivity to anticancer drugs.
