Lucidenic lactone is a terpene compound that acts as an inhibitor of DNA polymerases. It inhibits calf DNA polymerase-?, rat DNA polymerase-?, and HIV-1 reverse transcriptase with IC50 values of 42 ?M, 99 ?M, and 69 ?M, respectively.
