Recombinant human RGS4 protein
RGS4 (regulator of G protein signaling 4) is a protein which regulates G protein signaling. Regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) family members are regulatory molecules that act as GTPase activating proteins (GAPs) for G alpha subunits of heterotrimeric G proteins. Heterotrimeric G proteins function to relay information from cell surface receptors to intracellular effectors. Recombinant human RGS4 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
