Valiolamine
Valiolamine, an aminocyclitol, is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor. Valiolamine has potent alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity against porcine intestinal sucrase, maltase and isomaltase. Valiolamine binds to porcine intestinal maltase and sucrase with Ki values of 350 nM and 30 nM, respectively[1].
