Background
OLR1 is a receptor protein which belongs to the C-type lectin superfamily. OLR1 binds, internalizes and degrades oxidized low-density lipoprotein. This protein may be involved in the regulation of Fas-induced apoptosis. This protein may play a role as a scavenger receptor. Mutations of its gene have been associated with atherosclerosis, risk of myocardial infarction, and may modify the risk of Alzheimer's disease.

Applications Notes
OLR1 antibody can be used for detection of OLR1 by ELISA at 1:62500. OLR1 antibody can be used for detection of OLR1 by western blot at 2.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
