HOXA2 Antibody

In vertebrates, the genes encoding the class of transcription factors called homeobox genes are found in clusters named A, B, C, and D on four separate chromosomes. Expression of these proteins is spatially and temporally regulated during embryonic development.HOXA2 is a DNA-binding transcription factor which may regulate gene expression, morphogenesis, and differentiateon. The encoded protein may be involved in the placement of hindbrain segments in the proper location along the anterior-posterior axis during development.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store HOXA2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

HOXA2 antibody can be used for detection of HOXA2 by ELISA at 1:12500. HOXA2 antibody can be used for detection of HOXA2 by western blot at 0.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
