TFR2 Antibody

TFR2, a member of the transferrin receptor-like family, is a single-pass type II membrane protein with a protease associated (PA) domain, an M28 peptidase domain and a transferrin receptor-like dimerization domain. This protein mediates cellular uptake of transferrin-bound iron and mutations in this gene have been associated with hereditary hemochromatosis type III.This gene is a member of the transferrin receptor-like family and encodes a single-pass type II membrane protein with a protease associated (PA) domain, an M28 peptidase domain and a transferrin receptor-like dimerization domain. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store TFR2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

TFR2 antibody can be used for detection of TFR2 by ELISA at 1:62500. TFR2 antibody can be used for detection of TFR2 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
