VGF Antibody - middle region: Biotin (ARP42127_P050-Biotin)

VGF is specifically expressed in a subpopulation of neuroendocrine cells, and is upregulated by nerve growth factor. It also shares similarities with the secretogranin/chromogranin family, however, its exact function is not known.This gene is specifically expressed in a subpopulation of neuroendocrine cells, and is upregulated by nerve growth factor. The structural organization of this gene is similar to that of the rat gene, and both the translated and the untranslated regions show a high degree of sequence similarity to the rat gene. All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
