Immunogen

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human KCNK10

Target

KCNK10 is one of the members of the superfamily of potassium channel proteins containing two pore-forming P domains. The message for this gene is highly expressed in the kidney and pancreas. This channel is an open rectifier which primarily passes outward current under physiological K+ concentrations. The protein is stimulated strongly by arachidonic acid and to a lesser degree by membrane stretching, intracellular acidification, and general anaesthetics. Three transcript variants have been identified for this gene. This gene encodes one of the members of the superfamily of potassium channel proteins containing two pore-forming P domains. Reconstitution

All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil) . Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
