ZW-2038

ZW-2038 is a potent and selective antiviral compound effective against Vaccinia virus (VACV), Monkeypox virus (MPXV), and Cowpox virus (CPXV) . It inhibits VACV DNA replication and subsequent post-replicative gene expression, although it does not inhibit MPXV protease (Mpr) . ZW-2038 demonstrates strong antiviral activity in complex human and animal tissue models and can be used for research on Orthopoxvirus infections.
