Tyrosinase activator-1

Tyrosinaseactivator-1 (Compound 7A) is a tyrosinase activator. It exhibits significant antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, such as MRSA, Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC653), and Enterococcus faecium, with MIC values ranging from 12.5 to 20 μM. The compound activates tyrosinase by competitively occupying the L-DOPA binding site on the enzyme's surface without disrupting substrate binding at the active center. Tyrosinaseactivator-1 is applicable in research on bacterial infections and antibiotic development.
