PI3K-IN-55 (Compound 6a) is a small molecule PI3K inhibitor that suppresses proliferation in multiple cancer cell lines (A549, Hela, HepG2, MCF-7, HT-29) and induces apoptosis in MCF-7 cells. It functions by modulating the PI3K/Akt/p53 signaling pathway, making it a useful tool for oncology research and signaling studies in vitro.
