Dihydropyridine Binding Complex (alpha1)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes human Dihydropyridine calcium channel, alpha-1 subunit as determined by Western Blot of membrane preparations (~210kD), Immunoprecipitation and functional tests. Reactive with L-type calcium channel alpha1 subunit. Specific for small cell carcinoma and neuroblastoma by FACS analysis. No interaction with squamous cell carcinoma or with cardiac calcium chanel isoform. Species Crossreactivity: rabbit, rat and mouse.
