Desirudin
Desirudin (CGP 39393) is a direct thrombin inhibitor used in research to study thrombosis and associated platelet disorders. It is applied in both in vitro coagulation assays and in vivo models of venous stasis to investigate mechanisms of thrombocytopenia and platelet dysfunction.
