Vaniprevir
Vaniprevir is a direct-acting antiviral small molecule that competitively inhibits the hepatitis C virus NS3/4A protease, thereby blocking viral replication. It has been utilized in both in vitro enzymatic assays and in vivo animal studies to investigate HCV protease function and antiviral therapy.
