Isepamicin sulfate
Isepamicin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that binds to the bacterial 30S ribosomal subunit, inhibiting protein synthesis. It is notably effective against bacteria expressing AAC (6') -I type acetyltransferase. This compound is used in research to study antibiotic resistance mechanisms and bacterial protein synthesis in vitro.
