This item specifically recognises human TIM-3 (T-cell immunoglobulin mucin-3), a Th1-specific transmembrane protein and member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, which acts as a regulator of macrophage activation, and an inhibitor of Th1-mediated auto- and alloimmune responses.
