Oscillamide Y TFA

Oscillamide YTFA is the trifluoroacetate salt of Oscillamide Y. Oscillamide Y (Compound 1) is a cyclic peptide containing urea groups and acts as a chymotrypsin inhibitor. This compound can be isolated from the freshwater toxic cyanobacterium Oscillatoria agardhii. It exhibits high toxicity to fish, large water fleas, and algae, while having an irritating effect on Raphidocelis subcapitata (EC50: 4.62 mg/L) . Oscillamide Y also strongly inhibits luminescence in Aliivibrio fischeri and is applicable in ecological development research.
