Human IL-1RA Protein, Tag Free (MALS verified)
Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1RA) is a naturally occurring anti-inflammatory antagonist of interleukin-1 family of pro-inflammatory cytokines. It competes with IL-1α and IL-1β to bind IL-1R1, thereby acting as an endogenous inhibitor of the IL-1 signaling pathway. IL‐1RA has been connected with a variety of diseases, including cardiovascular disease, type II diabetes, carcinoma, and joint diseases.
