Function

Converts angiotensin I to angiotensin II by release of the terminal His-Leu, this results in an increase of the vasoconstrictor activity of angiotensin. Also able to inactivate bradykinin, a potent vasodilator. Has also a glycosidase activity which releases GPI-anchored proteins from the membrane by cleaving the mannose linkage in the GPI moiety.

Additionnal Information

This antibody may be used in ELISA, <br><br>Immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry for detection of ACE or ACE-positive cells. Other applications are under investigation.

Storage Conditions

These antibodies are stable for at least one (1) year at -20°C to -70°C. Store product in appropriate aliquots to avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity

This antibody reacts specifically with human, bovine, and murine ACE and with ACE-positive endothelial cells.<h3>DILUTION INSTRUCTIONS</h3>Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system.<h3>STORAGE AND STABILITY</h3>These antibodies are stable for at least one (1) year at -20oC to -70oC.
