Human Artemin Protein
Recombinant of human Artemin protein
Product Specifications
Product Name Alternative
ART, ARTN , EVN, NBN.
Source
Escherichia Coli
Purity
Greater than 98.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Bioactivity
The activity is determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of the SH-SY5Y cell line and is typically 4-8 ng/mL. The activity can also be determined by its ability to promote survival and neurite outgrowth.
Form
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Artemin in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Storage Conditions
Stability: Lyophilized Artemin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Artemin Human Recombinant should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles
Notes
For research use only.
