MEDI7814 is a humanized monoclonal antibody inhibitor targeting C5a and C5adesArg. It has binding affinities of 14 pM for recombinant human C5a and 8 pM for serum-purified human C5a. MEDI7814 shows potential for treating acute inflammatory conditions, including sepsis and renal ischemia-reperfusion injury.
