Rabbit anti Chlorpyrifos
Product Specifications
Background
Chlorpyrifos is an insecticide belonging to the group of organophosphothioates. It is used in the culture of vegetables and in citrus orchards. Chlorpyrifos is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor and as such having a highly toxic effect on the nervous system. There is evidence that chlorpyrifos has an effect on the foetus, which may lead to behavioural disorders.

Assay Principle
The antibody may be used in ELISA and Immuno-affinity-chromatography (IAC).
Sµggested dilution 1:8000 in ELISA (this titer is defined as the dilution that gives 50 % of the absorbance from the maximum absorbance when tested with ELISA). ). Plates are coated with 400 ng/mL ovalbumin conjµgated-chlorpyrifos. HRP-conjµgated anti-rabbit IgG should be used as a tracer in a 1:8,000 dilution.
Form
Each vial contains 0,1 mL rabbit polyclonal antiserum containing 0,02% sodium azide
