Rat TPBG / 5T4 Protein, His Tag (MALS verified)
Rat TPBG Protein, His Tag (TPG-R52H6) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293) . It contains AA Ser 32 - Ser 361 (Accession # Q5PQV5) .
Product Specifications
Background
Trophoblast glycoprotein (TPBG), also known as 5T4, is the therapeutic target of several anticancer agents currently in clinical development, largely due to its high expression in tumors and low expression in normal adult tissues. This gene encodes a leucine-rich transmembrane glycoprotein that may be involved in cell adhesion. TPBG is expressed by all types of trophoblasts as early as 9 weeks of development.
Specifications
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 37.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 50-70 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
