Xaliproden (free base)

Xaliproden free base is an orally active and selective 5-HT1A receptor agonist. Xaliproden free base shows analgesic effect against acute tonic nociceptive pain and has neuroprotective effects. Xaliproden free base has an acute inhibitory effect on paclitaxel (HY-B0015) -induced mechanical allodynia by inhibiting the excessive response of primary afferent neurons[1].
