Anti-Interleukin-4 (IL-4)

This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of receipt.

ELISA: To detect hIL-4 by direct ELISA (using 100µl/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5µg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection. IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 0.25 µg/ml. Neut: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hIL-4 (1.50 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.03 - 0.05 µg/ml of this antibody is required. WB:To detect hIL-4 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hIL-4 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Detects a band of approximately 15 kDa.
