Anti-Nop1p

This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of receipt.

Recognises Yeast (S. cerevisiae) Nop1p. This monoclonal antibody does not cross-react with fibrillarin in other species, but is an excellent marker of the nucleolus of yeast cells.

Western blots of yeast protein samples: 1:5,000 (cell lysates) to 1:12,500 (nuclear fractions), followed by chemiluminescent detection (ECL). For other (non-ECL) western detection methods: 1:500 to 1:2,500. For immunofluorescence on yeast cells: 1:1,000 to 1: 10,000.
