SensiStain™ Anti-Collagen Type IV Antibody
SensiStain Anti-Collagen Type IV Antibody is designed for detection of collagen IV protein expressing tissue or lysates. Collagen IV is found in the basal lamina and a constituent of the basement membrane which has a role in supporting structure. Disruptions or complete absent of basement membrane may be indicative of upregulation of matrix metalloproteinases secreted by cancer cells. The loss of structure integrity of the basement membrane is associated with stages of invasive cancers.
