SensiStain™ Anti-57<sup>kip2</sup> Antibody detects for the presence of p57, a tumor suppressor protein that causes cell cycle arrest at G1 by binding G1 cyclin-CDK complexes. p57 is a potential tumor suppressor, and is a valuable target for study in cancer. It has also associated with diseases such as Wilms' tumor and Beckwith Wiedemann syndrome.
