SensiStain Anti-Nanog Antibody stains for the presence of Nanog, a homeoprotein that functions with pluripotent factors such as Oct4 and Sox2 to maintain embryonic stem cell pluripotency. Expression of nanog has been shown to be present in carcinomas such as seminoma, dysgerminoma, and embryonal carcinoma.
