SensiStain™ Anti-Ep-CAM Antibody

SensiStain Anti-Ep-CAM/Epithelial Specific Antigen is specific for the detection of epithelial cell adhesion molecule or Ep-CAM, which is a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in cell processes such as cell signaling, migration, proliferation, and differentiation. The presence of Ep-CAM was first identified in human colon carcinoma. Today studies have shown that Ep-CAM is also expressed in human epithelial tissues and other carcinomas.
