Recombinant Human TFF2
Found in the gastrointestinal tract, the three Trefoil proteins, TFF1, 2, and 3 have been shown to play an important role in intestinal mucosal defence and repair. Specifically, TFF2 has been shown to inhibit gastrointestinal motility and secretion of the gastric acid.
