Recombinant Human MIG (CXCL9)
MIG (CXCL9) protein belongs to the family of chemotactic cytokines known as chemokines. The synthesis of MIG is specifically induced in macrophages and in other cells by IFN-gamma.Human neutrophils produce mig in response to IFN-gamma in combination with either TNF-alpha or bacterial lipopolysaccharides and this response is blocked by IL-10 and IL-4. MIG is a chemoattractant for stimulated but not resting T cells, however it is not active on neutrophils or monocytes.
