Recombinant Human Eotaxin-3 (CCL26)
Both Eotaxin-2/CCL24 and Eotaxin-3/CCL26 are CC chemokines and functional ligands for CC chemokine receptor 3 (CCR3), which is preferentially expressed on eosinophils. Only 34% of the amino acids in Eotaxin-2/CCL24 and Eotaxin-3/CCL26 are identical, but these two chemokines have a common characteristic feature in terms of chemotaxis for eosinophils via the CCR3.
