The SR-BI/SCARB1 protein is a multifunctional receptor that binds a variety of ligands, including phospholipids, cholesteryl esters, lipoproteins, phosphatidylserine, and apoptotic cells. Both isoform 1 and isoform 2 act as high-density lipoprotein (HDL) receptors, promoting cholesterol ether uptake and HDL-dependent cholesterol efflux. SR-BI/SCARB1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived SR-BI/SCARB1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
