GLUD1, Human (His)

GLUD1 protein is a mitochondrial glutamate dehydrogenase that converts L-glutamate into α-ketoglutarate, supporting glutamine anaplerosis and the tricarboxylic acid cycle. In addition to metabolism, GLUD1 plays a key role in insulin homeostasis, complexly regulating glucose metabolism.
