KW-5805 is an anti-ulcer agent that promotes the biosynthesis, storage and secretion of gastric mucus, improves gastric mucosal hemodynamics, and inhibits the decrease in gastric mucosal blood volume and mucosal oxygenation caused by steroid shock[1].
