PIGR, Human (G365S, HEK293, His)

PIGR proteins play a critical role in mediating the selective transcytosis of polymerized IgA and IgM across mucosal epithelial cells, which is critical for mucosal immunity. PIGR binds these immunoglobulins at the basolateral surface, forming a complex that is transported intracellularly and secreted apically. PIGR Protein, Human (G365S, HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived PIGR protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag and G365S mutation.
